Solent Seascape Project wins highly commended award

The Vice‑Chancellor’s Awards at the University of Portsmouth shine a spotlight on the students, staff, alumni, and community partners whose exceptional dedication has helped drive the University’s values, ambition, and achievements forward. This year, winners were recognised across nine award categories, with a further eight nominees receiving special commendations for their remarkable contributions over the past year.

Among them, the Solent Seascape Project earned a Commendation for Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Sustainability — a testament to its inspiring work to protect and restore our local marine environment.
