Join Project Seagrass for a planting preparation workshop at Sea View Yacht Club and do your part to save seagrass in the Solent.
Get your hands dirty or focus on more detailed tasks, as you help in the mission to restore 3.5 hectares of seagrass meadows to Island waters.

We’ll be preparing transplants to give them the best chance of thriving once planted.
What you’ll be doing
Carefully attaching bamboo pins to seagrass rhizomes from our nursery. This requires a delicate touch to protect fragile plants.
What to Bring
Outdoor-friendly clothes you don’t mind getting muddy and weather-appropriate gear, layers for cold or sunglasses if we’re lucky with the weather! Please note that this activity will take place in an under-cover but outside area.
What We Provide
All necessary tools and equipment, gloves, antibacterial gel, and expert guidance from our team.
