Oyster Scrubbing and Cleaning

We have 20,000 native oysters coming and we need your help to scrub and clean them!

They’ll be placed on the new reef we’re building in Chichester Harbour but before they can move into their new home, we need to make sure there’s aren’t any hidden creatures coming with them.

What you’ll be doing:

🦪 scrubbing oysters to remove any dirt and other animals

🦪giving them a bath to ensure they are extra clean before they are placed on our reef in the Solent. 

 
The day will include:  

🧖 A scrubbing and spa session (for the oysters only) 
🎥 A short film screening 
🍕 Pizza for our volunteers! 

This is a great opportunity to get hands on conservation experience and do your bit for the ocean!
