Join our partner, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, for a marine experience along Eastney’s shore.
These sessions are designed to use fun activities to learn new marine ID skills (perfect for preparing for our summer intertidal volunteering opportunities), rather than collecting data. These are perfect for both regular volunteers who want to keep involved over winter or members of the public who want to learn more about the amazing marine life existing on their local shores.
Please note this event will be weather dependent. We will go ahead in light rain, but may cancel the event if it is heavy wind and rain. We will let you know if the event is cancelled as soon as possible but make sure check your emails before leaving on the day.
You don’t need any special knowledge or experience to take part in our intertidal surveys, but you must be either over 18 or over 16 and accompanied by a participating parent or guardian. Dogs are not allowed on the survey.
Booking is essential. Please sign up here.
